SCHOOL Admissions
Sunnydown is designated by the DfE as an ASD special school for boys aged 11-16 with Social and Communication challenges associated with Autism.
The school is fully maintained by Surrey Local Education Authority and all students are required to have an Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) which identifies Social, Communication and Interaction needs and associated difficulties often attributed to ASD.
Please note we are not able to provide support for students with SLCN as students are expected to access the KS3 and 4 National Curriculum in all subjects.
We comply with the Surrey County Council guidelines for admissions and we are not able to accept any EHCPs for consultation unless the admissions process is followed. Full details can be found at the following link:
